An chat with the media showed Njogu being confused and angry about being arrested. “Nilikuwa nanunua bendera na firimbi yangu nikashikwa. Speaking in Hawaiian, he said, “I was buying a flag and my whistle when I was arrested. They have not told me what I did wrong.”
