Good News To Unemployed Teachers As Government is Set To Hire 36,000 Teachers Ahead Of School Opening.
Teacher Service Commission is the only Commission in Kenya that is mandated to recruit, promote, transfer and remunerate to Charles in the country.
The commission which is currently under the leadership of Dr Nancy Macharia who is serving as the Chief Executive Oficer has been working around the clock to ensure that all teachers in the country are working in the best conditions and environment.
In what has been received as good news, the commission is currently planning to embark on teacher recruitment. According to the latest updates, Teachers Service Commission is set to recruit a total of 36,000 teachers who will help solve teacher shortage challenge in the country.
The teachers will mainly be secondary school teachers in the C3 and D job groups respectively. The commission will also promote teachers who had applied for promotion from October last year.
This has been received as good news especially to thousands of unemployed teachers. The plan comes few days ahead of the official school opening date which is on Monday next week.
