TSC Sets Deadline For 36,000 Promotion Application.
The Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) has announced a significant opportunity for teachers to apply for 36,000 promotion vacancies, with the application deadline set for September 8, 2023. These promotions will span across nine different grades, addressing concerns about teacher career stagnation.
This development comes shortly after successful salary review negotiations for teachers and is aimed at promoting teachers across various levels within primary and secondary schools, as well as teacher-training institutions.
12,716 openings for the position of senior master
10,819 teachers will be promoted to senior teachers in conventional primary schools.
– 700 openings for senior teacher positions in institutions for students with special needs.
– 216 openings for the Grade position of senior lecturer in teacher-training colleges.
– 108 senior principal positions and 34 chief principal positions are also available.
