KISWARO FC: NYOGAYA FOUNDATION TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS 2023
Nyogaya foundation under patron T. Agutu organized an event that brought members of different clans and sub-clans together to celebrate it’s progress.

The well organized event took place at Obaga primary school, West Asembo, Rarieda, Siaya.
It involved series of exciting activities such as dances ( modern and traditional), Cultural shows, Comedies, dramas, among other interesting activities.
The major activity that captivated nearly everyone’s attention was football. It involved a competitive action on ground among Obaga Fc, Nyagoko Fc, Kiswaro Tigers Fc and Rarieda Fc.
The draw was fairly done and it brought out exciting matches to be watched. It was as follows:
- OBAGA FC vs NYAGOKO FC
- KISWARO TIGERS vs RARIEDA FC
All the matches were at knockout stages. Winner match 1 vs Winner match 2 formed the Finals.
Obaga Fc whooped Nyagoko to a 2-0 win and booked their place early for the finals.
Match 2 ended in a goalless draw and proceeded the penalty shoot outs where kiswaro fc sent Rarieda back home with a 5-4 win.
Match of the day
The sun was on its way to the west as evening approached. Fans all over the grounds. Everyone waiting for the thrilling match. Nothing other than KISWARO TIGERS vs OBAGA FC. Whose laugh was it to be last??
90 minutes was less for a goal for any side. A goalless draw again.
KISWARO tigers became much clinical when it came to penalty shootouts and gave out 100% conversion.
They won it at 6-5 and were crowned the CHAMPIONS OF NYOGAYA FOUNDATION TOURNAMENT 2023.
Team captain Henry Ochieng had these to say after the victory;
“We were prepared for everything that was to come by our way. Our trophy cabinet was demanding and we had to give it our all. ”
