The transfers’ CAUSES
There are several reasons why school heads are being relocated and transferred. TSC provided the following justifications for the transfers:
Many school administrators have reached the age at which they must retire. They have thus left open posts in their stations. The commission is compelled by this to promote capable deputy heads with a proven track record to headship posts. After being promoted, the deputies are moved to different areas to cover the holes left by the departing heads. This is required so that performance and experience at the institutions can be matched.
