From May 14 to May 17, VP Mina will be in Kenya on a state visit.
For the sake of the people of Kenya and Colombia, the Vice President’s visit intends to strengthen the already-existing bilateral ties in a variety of areas.
The DP will attend a joint press conference on Monday at 10 a.m. at the official residence of the Deputy President, Karen, in Nairobi, with Colombian Vice President Francia Mina.
This is taking place as Kenya organizes a global campaign to draw in reputable investors.
Kenya and Colombia have pushed for improved business ties.
Earlier, during the International Chambers Conference, Vice President Francia Márquez advocated for direct flights between his nation and Kenya.
Kenya also wanted to create a superior hybrid for the Caribbean market by blending Colombian tea and coffee.
Data shows that Kenyan exports to Colombia in 2021 amounted to Sh150 million.
Coffee, tea and spices are the leading exports while live trees, plants, bulbs, roots and cut flowers follow.
