 Teachers  receives Transfer Letters

Teachers receives transfer Letters. Before the beginning of the following week, on May 8, 2023, when classes were to resume, all of the delocalized teachers would  have received their transfer letters.

Teachers whose transfers have been granted will have their letters made public, according to a pledge from the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

Details indicate that some instructors in various counties have begun receiving their letters from the Regional Directors. Once the letters have been delivered to the county offices, teachers will need to pick them up.

According to representatives of the Teachers Service Commission, the majority of transfers for people whose transfers were acknowledged have been accepted.

Before the start of the second term of classes, the commission had earlier committed to transferring about 21,544 instructors.

In May, the commission intended to announce the transfer letters and approve the regional and interregional transfers.

In the most recent transfers, the commission did not authorize the teachers who requested moves outside of their zones.

The commission did not authorize the instructors who requested transfers outside of their zones during the most recent transfers.

There has been pressure on the commission to return the instructors to their original counties.

The TSC CEO, Nancy Macharia, stated during her testimony before the Senate Education Committee that the commission has put in place procedures that will make it simple for these teachers to return to their home regions.

Teachers will be rerouted according to the commission’s established procedures with no limitations, such as five years at a working station, and a suitable replacement.
