Private Universities Expect Funding Challenges After The Government Makes This Move

 

 

Private universities expect to face tough times following president Ruto’s latest move on funding of higher institutions. President William Ruto said the government is going to make far reaching changes in the funding of higher education.

 

The new method of is introduced to prevent education from being compromises in the higher education institutions.

“We will now have a new plan for higher education. We have had so many funding challenges foe collages and universities but we have agreed that the money which goes to these institutions is very little and we have agreed we are going to double the resources so that we can eliminate challenges in higher education institutions.” Ruto said.

Kenya Universities and College Central Placement Service has also delayed to place at various universities as it awaits presidential working party on education reforms to give guidelines for the same. The education reforms has said that the report is ready and some bold decisions were at university levels to solve the problem faced in the institutions.
