The Former President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta, has been busy with ensuring that there is peace in not just the East African region but the rest of Africa at large.
However, the Former President of Kenya who handed over power to President William Ruto a few months ago has not yet resigned from his position as the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance party Chairman.
The Former President is also the leader of the Former Ruling Jubilee Party as per the reports that we have with us this evening.
According to the available reliable reports that we have from The Star Newspaper, the Former President is supposed to enjoy many perks as a retired President of the country.
These perks were enjoyed by the late Presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki until their demise.
Reports intimate that the President has to resign from the political positions that he holds before he can enjoy those perks.
That has to be in the space of six months after he has handed over power as per the constitution states before he can enjoy those advantages.
The six months have not yet elapsed but the government is said to have enquired on if the Former President of Kenya has resigned from his political positions.
